In 1947, the fragrant Hong Rui Zhen shop, inheriting over 70 years of Taiwanese flavor, debuted on the bustling streets of Changhua County (formerly known as Baodou)! The signature peanut brittle and pineapple cakes made from local specialty products are the favorite traditional tastes for many people to give as celebratory gifts. Hong Rui Zhen is also one of the earliest shops in Taiwan to make Western-style sandwiches, insisting on 100% homemade toast, fresh daily prepared secret spreads, and freshly fried egg skins for many years, supplying everyone with 'simple, soft, delicious, and safe' sandwiches.
This dedication not only allows us to be loved by many, but we are also honored to become one of the favorite Taiwanese flavors of overseas friends, with some starting to call us 'Taiwan Sandwich'.
